Tour Guide and Researcher Lucy Brouwer is available to present illustrated talks on the Nottingham architects Watson Fothergill and Thomas Chambers Hine. A new talk, about Fothergill’s buildings in Mansfield, is also now available.
So far these talks have taken place in libraries at Beeston and West Bridgeford, and at Nottinghamshire County Archives as well as for local history societies in Farnsfield, Ilkeston and Mansfield. Lucy has also presented a talk at a local care home, where the residents enjoyed sharing their memories of Nottingham buildings.
“Lucy gave an entertaining talk littered with a sprinkling of good humour about Watson Fothergill who designed so many interesting buildings in the Greater Nottingham area.”
Lucy’s talks can also take place as Zoom online meetings. If you would like to arrange a talk for your group, please contact Lucy to discuss your requirements.
Talks include Watson Fothergill Virtual Walk – highlights of the Nottingham City Centre Tour; On the trail of TC Hine in Nottingham and Fothergill’s Buildings in Mansfield. Contact Lucy for more details or to book a talk in person or online.
