Lucy proved to be a absolute mine of information, picking into the seams of local knowledge to deliver an absolutely riveting two hours of entertainment. I would thoroughly recommend this walk to anybody wishing to learn more about the works of WF and the city he focussed his professional life in.

Fun and informative experience

Informative and fun experience looking at the wonderful buildings in Nottingham City Centre. Saw lots of details that I’d never noticed before. Lucy is a great guide

Eccentric Architecture, Exceptional Guide

Fantastic early evening walk with knowledgable and entertaining guide Lucy. We learnt tons about Nottingham’s talented and eccentric architect Watson Fothergill, whose distinctive buildings can still be seen all around the city centre. Highly recommended.

Don’t forget to look up

Thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Lucy. She adds detail and knowledge and humour to her tour. It lasted just over 2 hours. Having lived in the city for nearly 50 years it was a revelation! I need to look up more. Ended at Fothergills next to the Castle so had a Sunday roast then looked round the Castle. Brilliant day

Everyone was buzzing with how much they had enjoyed the tour

I arranged a private tour for a few friends and it was brilliant. Lucy set just the right pace and it was both informative and entertaining -she's a great storyteller. We learnt how to identify a Fothergill building as well as lots of fascinating history of families and businesses in Nottingham city centre. We arranged to end our walk with a meal at Fothergills by the castle and everyone was buzzing with how much they had enjoyed the tour. It was excellent value for two hours and highly recommended.
